She's Back, Back Again.

"I believe that the single most important thing in life, beyond discipline and creativity,
is daring to dare"
 -Maya Angelou

Hello beauties, I've missed you.
Yes, I realise that I have taken a couple months of a hiatus from blogging, but now with the song "Guess who's back, back again, [Kayla's] back, tell a friend" I have decided to return!
The past couple of month's have been life-changing for me- I've graduated high school (finally!!), gone on an exchange trip to Paris for the month of July where I fell absolutely in love with my French family and the country, got a new job after 2 years with a wonderful company, and now midway through September I am trying to adjust to university life!
So, since I believe September is like January in which you have new grounds to change your life, I have decided to become the person whom I have always wanted to be. Before, I took to blogging with other people in mind. "Who's blog do I admire?" And "How can I be like her?"were common questions that I would start an entry with. But now my "new school, new attitude" mindset is telling me to be completely myself in the way's that I blog and see how people like it. I do hope that you like it!

So beautiful people, here is my first entry of my new year.
I hope that you enjoy it and love my patterned pants and my baby from Paris (YSL- I named her Portia!) as much as I do.

xoxo

Cleanliness is next to Godliness

So a little different than clothing...
Recently I have changed my skincare routine, I had been using Clearasil for months and it had always produced mediocre results for my skin. So, while accompanying my friend at the drug store I confided in her my recent skin problems, breakouts and such. My friend highly praised Biotherm, she told me that the Replenishing Gel was the "greatest thing ever." So although the system is much more costly than Clearasil I decided to give it a try. I bought the starter kit, which includes the Replenishing Gel, the Toning Mousse, and the Toning Lotion. I probably started the system a little over two weeks ago and I love it! I have honestly been getting so many compliments on how bright and luminescent my skin is, it just glows! Your skin feels so soft after the first "treatment" and for me, breakouts have been highly minimised.
It is a expensive system, but the products are trusted to last for 2 months. I am just trying to hold mine out till May so that I can get a gift with purchase! ;)
Overall, I have really enjoyed them.

Also! I just bought the Mat Kearney C.D. (I am so old-school, still buying C.D.s!) "Young Love" and I absolutely adore it! In my opinion if Coldplay and John Mayer had a baby, it would be Mat.
Enjoy! :)

P.S. Who of you still buys C.D.s?
